Andrew Todd is the founder of Underly. He holds a Master of Applied Finance and a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance & Investment from FINSIA, where he is a Fellow, and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
He has spent more than two decades in senior technology roles across Australian financial services — superannuation and investment platforms, fund research and ratings, and advice technology — including executive roles inside APRA-regulated businesses and ASX-listed companies.
Underly comes out of that work. The data that says what a fund actually holds is published by the issuers and the exchange, but it is scattered, inconsistent and hard to total up. Underly does the totalling, shows its sources, and stops there.

How Underly is written
Underly states facts drawn from primary sources and does not give financial, tax or legal advice. Our editorial policy sets out how pages are made and corrected, and the methodology lists every source we read.
